Bio
Ms. Thomas is well known for advising members of Congress and corporate executives on corporate affairs and communications, investor relations and social impact initiatives.
A proven track record of successfully influencing policy decisions in heavily regulated and complex legislative environments. Known for forging and maintaining strong bi-partisan alliances across government, industry, and advocacy groups to advance shared agendas. She served as the Chief of Staff and Legislative Director for members of the powerful Ways and Means, Intelligence and Homeland Security Committees, where she crafted more than 182 pieces of legislation agreed to, and 87 of which became public law.
Throughout her career, she has worked extensively in Europe and Asia representing the US Congress before the Congressional Bundestag Energy Exchange in Germany, the Ministry of National Defense of the People’s Republic of China, the Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development in France, and the World Health Organization in Belgium to collaborate with industry and association partners, media influencers and government leaders.
Ms. Thomas is a standing guest lecturer at Stillman College, a member of the Washington Literacy Center advisory board, a member of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundations’ Corporate Advisory Council, and a member of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute’ Corporate Advisory Council.
